Welcome to the first WIP (work in progress) Wednesdays, a weekly blog post showcasing what I have been working on in the previous week! I hope you enjoy this format and any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!
Halloween is over! I have enjoyed it this year even though towards the end of October I got far to excited for Christmas and that took over. I have been working on Christmas presents for my kids and family starting with a knitted and crochet doll blanket for my daughter.
I finally tried out the 5D diamond painting kit I picked up form eBay. You can find out all about how I got on in my blog post – “5d diamond painting – what is it?”
I’ve been wanting to try a messy bun beanie for ages and I found this cute puff stitch pattern by Wilma Westenburg (click here to go to it) so gave it a go!
I have loads of clips left over from what I was going to make some bows. I made a few but then other things took over. I found this bow pattern by Kimmiescrochet (click to go to it) and it was so cute I had to make it!
What have you been up to this week?
Good for you starting your Christmas projects!! I’ve written a list of what I need to do but haven’t started any of it yet! I love the bobble stitch hat! 😀

What a cute little bow! They all look fun, but I’m not sure I’d have the patience for the diamond painting

it is fun. yeah it does take some time. I have it out on the dining room table and keep going back to it like my nana used to do with jigsaws 😀 glad you like the bow!
