This week has been a bust one. Decorating for Christmas, lists of things I want to make growing, the cooker stopped working for a bit, it’s been one of those weeks. So when “one of those weeks” appears I make sure I take lots of time to relax and craft so my anxiety doesn’t become too over whelming.
I started a cute scarf for the step-daughter for christmas. She loves animals and has been looking at this Meandering paws pattern by Amy B Stitched for a while. It took me a while to choose a colour to make it in but I hope she will like the dark green I chose. I love how it is working up. The pattern is easy to follow and works up fast!
On stream I started making my step-daughter a cushion for Christmas. She’s really into YouTube so after picking up a couple of cushion inserts I’ve started making her a YouTube cushion using C2C. I love how its working out so far. I’m going to be making something different on the back, maybe a panel in her favourite colour and then her name, so it’s like two cushions in one.
Took a trip to Abakhan and somehow only left with what I went in for (kind of). I’m going to try and make the kids stockings this year so I picked up a meter of felt. Baby Sparkles picked out the colour. I also sneaked these pins into the basket. They are so cute and a little longer than the ones I currently have.
I finished a C2C blanket I had been making for my step-daughter that I started over a year ago. I love the colours!
