I posted a little craft supply haul post (click here to see it), and it got me really excited to get creative!
Using glitter felt I tried to make a hair bow. I’ve a few of these around and after a quick search found this awesome template and simple to follow tutorial from Oliver and S. (click here to go to it!)
I used glue to stick the pieces together and added a little clip on the back!
I tried an iron on patch for the first time. We found this cute horse patch (kiddo is currently obssessed with horses) and decided to put it on her denim jacket. It was super easy, just took some time to get the iron to the right temperature. Initially I put it too low but soon gained some confidence and turned it up. I was scared of burning it!!
I’ve made a cushion cover before, one for my daughter when I first started sewing, and it’s awful! Lose threads, doesn’t fit properly, the lot! I’ve never put in a zip so after watching a few YouTube tutorials (here’s the one I used) I decided to give it go. It was a little fiddly at first but once I got the hang of it I really enjoyed it! Now just need to make more so I have a matching set!
Finally got back to some crochet. Started working in Espeon using the 53 stitches pattern! Super cute!
