Crafty haul!

I love going craft shopping. Finding new and exciting things, squishing all the yarn, all the awesome materials… and a few bargains too, brilliant!! So I thought I’d show you what I picked up!

I only purchased one ball of yarn! Yes, I no, big shocker! I squished so much but just felt in love with this Hayfield Spirit double knit in this gorgeous rainbow colour. I’ve been looking for yarn this colour for so long. A rainbow that’s not neon and has all the colours. I LOVE it. For now, I’m going to look at it and squish it and hopefully find the perfect pattern for it!

Glitter felt!! I have seen lots of different bows made using felt and they looked really neat and cute so I grabbed some glitter felt to give them a go myself!

Patches! I’ve never used patches before so when I saw some iron on ones in sale I had to grab them! My kiddo is currently obsessed with horses so of course, I grabbed a horse one. It was really easy to iron on and seems to have held up being washed, so far so good! We then spotted some in tree Disney shop (not on sale at the time unfortunately) but they were so cute I had to grab them!

I grabbed some trims and ribbon whilst I was there. The ribbon was in sale (each around 18p a meter), the rainbow ricrac was 70p a meter and I spotted a little bag of pompom trim in an odds and ends bag for 50p! Can’t wait to use them all!

And of course lots of material!

Made a pillow case with this lovely material I grabbed for £1 on sale!
