Not done one of these in a while!!I’ve been continuing to work on knitting and crochet the past few months have worked on a number of different projects. You can see all the things I’m up to over on Instagram.

I’ve been struggling to find a pattern that really showed off this beautiful yarn. After frogging a few projects I settled on the Cassis Shawlette by Collete Audrey. It’s a lovely repeating pattern so far and the lace it’s creating is helping to show off the yarn without making it all too busy. I’m going to be continuing with the edging but as usual I’m working on a few projects at the same time so we will see how long it takes!

Like the project above, it took me a while to find a pattern I really felt worked well with this yarn; a cake of rainbow yarn I picked up from Aldi. It isn’t actually rainbow – the yarn is a range of red, creme and dark grey. Thank goodness for pinterest! I did eventually find the Silver Bias Lace Scarf by Undeniable Glitter that I think gives this DK yarn a lovely texture. I don’t have concentrate too much when working on this one; makes it perfect to work on whilst watching television (currently binge watching Orange is the new black). I just need some cooler weather to try it out!

On stream I started the Kawaii Camper by Spinayarncrochet. She has so many amazing free patterns, a few of them I have already made and many more on my to-do list. As soon as I saw this I knew I had to make it! My mum and step-dad have a caravan they love going away in and I thought this would be a super cute addition. You can see me make this live over on twitch!

Thought I’d also add a couple of pictures of things I’ve completed whilst I haven’t been blogging. Some of these I made live on stream, some just in my own time.
