Another busy couple of weeks. Me and kiddo have been having lots of summer holiday fun! We’ve been to the zoo, museums, an art gallery, the park and done so many crafts – slime, teddies, even barbie clothes. Safe to say I’m exhausted!
I’ve made sure to give myself a few hours in the evening to relax and get some crafting done.
It was also our cat Lupins first birthday so here’s some pictures of him – when we first got him to now!
After making the silver fingerless gloves (click here for pattern) kiddo decided she wanted a pair. She chose this lovely rainbow yarn that’s 80% acrylic/20% wool but still super soft. The striping worked perfectly with the glove pattern and I think they came out super cute! We just need the cooler weather to try them out!
If you didn’t know, I live stream over on twitch and atleast twice a week those streams are creative ones. She chose snow White! (pattern by daisy and storm). Kiddo chose snow white and I’ve been working on her, slower than I would like, but she’s finished! Ended up making her skirt shorter than the pattern called for because kiddo wanted to see her shoes and I think she looks so sweet! (we then gave her temporary angry eyebrows haha – she was mad about all the mess the dwarves had been making!)
A while ago I bought some yarn purely because it was the most beautiful yarn I’d ever seen. I had no idea what I was going to make with it, and for a long time it lived on my shelf to be looked at and squished. I told myself I wouldn’t use it until I found a pattern I really love and thought would do it justice. I think I finally found a pattern. I’ve been working on it in the evenings whilst watching supernatural and giving little sneak peaks on Instagram. I’m really looking forward to seeing it finished!
